I have multiple sites that I manage and sometimes I have to do that remotely. Using the app is much more comfortable to work with then the web client on a phone.Most home users who self-manage will be better served with the UCG-Ultra. Ubiquiti pulled a fast one on people by releasing the UXG-Lite first. From another thread, the UCG Ultra is self-managed. IOW, you don't need a cloudkey (or other). UXG-Lite cannot be self-managed and requires a cloudkey (or other). For me, I like having management separate.Ubiquiti has a huge issue with not properly QC'ing their firmware/software updates. While they aren't alone in this (I'm looking at you SonicWall with your Gen 7 devices), it is a big enough of an issue I would not recommend any of their switches for production.
